Trevor Sorbie Leave-in Conditioner

I forever stick to my trusted, holy grail hair care products e.g. Aussie and Herbal Essences however recently my hair has been feeling really drab and dry. I decided to take a trip to Boots and look at their more higher end products and found this leave-in conditioner by Trevor Sorbie.

I had never used a leave-in conditioner before and didn't have high hopes however I was pleasantly surprised. This has made my hair so soft and shiny, I honestly cannot fault it. The smell is absolutely gorgeous and the spray nozzle means it is minimum fuss. If you spray it in your hair after you take it out of the towel it makes your hair 10x easier to brush through, which saves hours of trying to brush your hair as delicately as you can. It also is a saviour for fine, fly-away hair like mine that is a static mess when you blow dry it.

The travel version that I have here is £2 in Boots, which is so good if you are not sure and just want to give it a try. The full-size bottle is also in Boots for £5 which I will be purchasing as soon as this runs out.

If you are feeling lost on what new hair care products to splurge on then I 100% suggest you give this a go, especially is you have colour or heat damaged hair.

No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser Review

I recieved this as a gift from my friends for my birthday, probably because i wouldn't shut up about how much I wanted the Liz Earle Hot Cloth cleanser which I had heard nothing but positive reviews for.

This cleanser is perfect! the formula is lovely and creamy and feels lovely on the skin. It leaves your skin feeling lovely and subtle and feeling clean without feeling stripped of all its moisture. At first I was scared because I thought it was giving me spots however I think it was drawing all the horrible impurities out of my skin and this is what caused me to break out. The spots have all gone now and i've had no other problems, in fact its left me positively spot free! You also get so much for your money, the bottle is massive and I can tell it is going to last me and it also has a lovely convinient pump which gives you the perfect amount to wash your face with.

In the box, along with the cleanser, you get the muslin cloth which is lovely and gentle on the skin. It definitely is exfoliating but you dont fell like your skin has been attacked after you use it as I thought would be the case because I have sensitive skin.

Nails Of The Day #2

On my nails i'm wearing Topshop's Tidal, this is a lovely muted bluey/grey and I think its gorgeous and I dont think i've seen a colour like it. This was my first Topshop nail polish along with Rising Star and I love the formula of these topshop nail varnishes, they go on so easily and with minimal fuss and having to clean up your nails afterwards. They dry so quickly and the colour doesn't need much building as they colour is opaque after one/two coats. I will definitely be purchasing more topshop nail varnishes.

The glitter i'm using is Ibiza Mix by Models Own, I think this really adds a nice touch to Tidal, making it more interesting. Ibiza Mix is a lovely pink, blue and gold glitter which is part of the Hed Kandi collection. I think its definitely a must have nail varnish to have in your nail varnish collection as it goes with every colour.

Weekly Wishlist #1

one - two - three - four

1. Zara City Office Bag
I fell in love with this bag at first sight! It's exactly like the Prada bag that Tanya Burr has, and I would rather pay £50 than £500. It's very practical and will be good for college as you can fit A4 books and a laptop in there. As it's from Zara I think it will be very sturdy and last a long time!

2. Topshop shirt
This is so girly and summery, I don't usually wear shirts so hopefully this will add a new dimension to my wardrobe. I love the detailing on the pockets and for £38 I think it's worth it.

3. Topshop peep toe shoes
I love these shoes, just like the shirt they are so summery. I only really wear vans but I can see these being more practical and lovely in summer. They are a lovely tan colour and will go well with any outfit!

4. American Apparel nail varnish
I love the look of these nail varnish and have heard nothing but positive reviews! I love trying out new nail varnishes and I love all the colours, especially the glitters. I'm not sure I can justify spending £9, but I'll probably cave!

Birthday Haul and Pictures

Me and Maddie x
So it was my birthday yesterday and despite a few obstacles in the day it was amazing and I finally turned 16! My friends were amazing and made it the best day ever, they went to such a big effort to make my day they best birthday ever and I love them all to bits. We went to London shopping and then went to a dessert restaurant called Creams and then had a big sleepover. I wanted to show you what they got me and what I bought in London.

This is the lovely card my friends made me and it had the cutest message in it that choked me up a bit.
I had to get the picture of this jumper that my friends bought me off the internet because I couldn't photograph it well, this jumper is so lovely and feels just the right thickness for this weather. My friends know me so well as I kept picking this up everytime I went into topshop, and I had also looked at it with  Maddie a few times when we had gone into town to go to Boots.

My friends also bought me this lovely peplum top from H and M which is perfect for the more summery days and feels lovely and soft.

Feeling Blue is a gorgeous true blue colour which is perfect for my skin tone and my friends know that I am definitely a blue girl. Tidal is a off grey/blue, I have never seen a colour like it before so when I saw it in the Oxford Street topshop I knew I had to get it. After weeks and weeks of me borrowing Maddie's Freak Out by Models Own I was so so so happy to recieve this from my friends. Freak Out is a lovely blue/puple chunky glitter which goes perfectly over loads of other colours and is perfect for winter and summer wear. Rising star is the nicest glitter I have ever seen and I feel in love with it when Maddie bought it about a month ago so I also picked that up as well.

I also picked up MAC Lovelrn in London because it been something i've wanted for a while now, its a Lustre so it not very pigmented but it gives such a lovely soft finish.

I picked up this purse from topshop for £18, it looks really sturdy and simple and is just the right size I need for everything in my purse.

As my nail polish collection has grown my desk has been cluttered with nail polish which I can't, no matter how hard I try, keep neat so when I opened this up from my friends I nearly died as its been exactly what i've needed for so long.

This smells like heaven, it smells exactly like the Christmas Cookie candle and I can't wait to try it out, I can already tell its going to be amazing.

I got the stand from my friends and it is so perfect, it goes exactly with my room and it already has pride of place on my dressing table and looks gorgeous there! The two back bath bombs my friends also bought me and they smell so good and I cant wait to try them out, Maddie was sneaky and I thought she had bought them for herself! and the front two I picked up in the Lush in the Shephards Bush Westfields and they smell so nice.
My friends got me this as well and its the best thing ever ever ever, I've been told that its comarable to the Liz Earle cleanser. It has made my skin feel so soft and clean. Seriously the bestest thing i've ever been bought!

Beauty Favourites January

(sorry for the horrible picture quality)

Hiya lovelies, sorry its slightly delayed but I wanted to do a january favourites because there has been so much i've loved in january that I wanted to share with you!

I got the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation about 2/3 weeks ago in the shade true ivory which is the second to lightest shade, which I think is poor for Rimmel as there isn't a very wide range of colours so I was lucky that I found the right shade for me. However this foundation is so lovely and isn't greasy light I was worried it would be. It gives a slightly dewier finish than a matte foundation but I wouldnt say it was particularly shiny.

The Kate Moss lipstick in 107 was something is was nervous about getting and was debating whether I liked but after experimenting with it I really love it. I definitely will consider getting another lipstick from the collection as I already have my eye on a few.

This is definitely a holy grail product! its so cheap but so wonderfu, its so easy to apply. I can feel quite self concious about my dark circles but this completely stops that, I feel a lot more confident when I wear it.

Beths Blue by Models Own just had to be in my favourites this month because I have fallen in love with it. I'd love to say i have found a pink that I really love but I just much prefer blues! This colour is the perfect pastel blue. It goes on pretty much opaque after one coat and is a summer must have!

This body butter is to die for, it smells just like the Christmas Cookie Yankee Candle, if you like that then you'll love this. I  got this as part of a set from kiss me quick but im sure they sell it individually, i highly recommend it.

Thank you for reading. What were your January favourites?

Nails of the Day #1

I'm doing this post on my phone so I'm not sure how well this will work but it's worth a shot! I wanted to do something a bit different on my blog so I thought nails of the day was a quick easy and fun post to do.

On my nails I'm wearing Beth's Blue and Freak Out! Both by Models Own. Freak Out! Is my friend Maddie's nail polish as we're always together when we paint our nails.

Beth's Blue is a lovely pastel blue/lilac. it goes on so easy and only needs one to two coats as the first coat is fairly opaque, definitely a bargain for £5.

Freak Out! Is a lovely chunky glitter with little sparkles in it, I definitely need to get it or myself and stop borrowing it off Maddie.

Kate Moss 107 Review

I bought this lipstick a couple of days ago. Ive seen so many amazing reviews of this lipstick and I've wanted it for months now. I was scared to buy it because I dont really wear lipstick so to spend £5.49 on this in Boots was a big jump for me. Its also quite a deep berry colour which is definitely out of my comfort zone.

I'm not sure how i like the colour on me however its grown on me after trying it on a few times, the texture of it is lovely though, it glides on really easily and it doesn't feel cakey on your lips. Its really smooth and creamy, it almost feels like lipgloss but without all the horrible bits like your hair getting stuck in it. Its definitely matte howver it has a slight sheen to it so its not just one dimentional. The colour is opaque after one application and doesnt make your lips feel dry. definitely a winter must have!

Most Worn Winter Things Tag

I was tagged to do this by my friend maddie shes lovely, I highly recomend you to look at her blog.

1) Most worn nail polish?
This was the first models own nail polish I ever bought and I'm so glad I got it, I wear this all the time. Utopia is the perfect natural colour as its different to any other i've seen.

2) most used hair product?
This is the most amazing hair mask i've ever used, it makes my hair so smooth and my split ends seem a lot less noticable. If you have dyed hair and you're fed up of all the split ends that come with it then I would definitely recomend this!

3) most worn bag?
I've had this bag for about a year now and its lasted me well! My only issue with it is that the lock broke off about a month ago. I bought it from topshop for £40 and i'm glad I spent the money on it because its very hard wearing.

4) most worn shoes?
I got my all black vans for christmas but I haven't worn any other shoes since, they go with everything and are so so comfortable, I dont know where i'd be without them now.

5) most worn accessory?

I dont really wear a lot of accessories but I find myself reaching for my Dixi above knuckle ring a lot as it just adds a lovely touch to an outfit.

6) most worn clothing item?
I love my vans top because its just so simple and so easy to wear. I got this new with tags on ebay for £10 and i'm so glad I got it.

7)most worn foundation?
This foundation has lasted me so long and its so lovely, it has a light-medium coverage and is easily buildable and leaves my skin looking flawless. Its only downfall is that it makes me look pale.

8) most worn blush/bronzer?
I bought this MUA bronzer for £3 and didn't expect much from it however I was plesantly suprised by it and I find myself reaching for it a lot. Its not orange, its just a my skin tone but better colour and I dont think i'll be getting a new bronzer anytime soon.

9) most worn lip product?

I love the body shop lip butters they leave my lips feeling so mousturised and soft and they're so easy to just throw in your bag. I'm hopefully buying Rimmel 107 tomorrow to try out as i've heard nothing but amazing things about the Kate Moss collection.

New Years Resolutions

I thought that doing this post would be nice as I wanted something to look back to at the beginning of 2014 and see how much things have changed and whether I even stuck to my new years resolutions. This time next year I would have left school, got my GSCE's, had prom, started college and would be almost exactly a month away from being able to drive, this seems crazy as it feels like last week that I first stepped foot in my secondary school yet so much has changed since then.

Resolutions
1) Do well in school - I always find myself slacking in school and thinking none of it matters and then when its too late realise I probably should be doing work. So from now on im going to buckle down, try and do more revison and listen more and hopefully come out of school with grades I can be happy with and say I tried my hardest to get.

2) Drink more water - this is something I tried to do last year yet it never really happened, but this year i'm more determined and hopefully i'll find myself reaching for water instead of a can of Dr Pepper. Im not going to give myself a certain amount to drink a day because it'll never happen so im just going to see how it goes.

3) Smile more - 2012 wasn't a nice year for me and I often found myself feeling sorry for myself and moaning about the tiniest thing so whenever I feel upset I've just got to remember that i've got amazing friends and family and theres always something good in life even if it only holds the smallest amount of hope.

4) Lose weight - I'd love to feel amazing in my prom dress and know that ive worked hard to get there, thats not the only reason though I just need to get healthier and change my life style even if its only small changes for the better.

5) Keep up my 2013 memories jar - I think it's easy to think the worlds always on top of you and far to easy to forgot good things so hopefully thing will help my remember that things arent always bad.

I hope you have an amazing 2013 x x x

New Year Haul

1) Vanilla and violet incense sticks
I bought these in Burley originally and they smell so good so when I saw that you could get them in bulk packs on ebay, I jumped at the chance to get some more as they're so calming.

2) Butterball bath bomb
This bath bomb smells so lovely, its full of vanilla, calming and musky scents and it also contains cocoa butter to keep the skin supple and moisturised.

3) Magic Wand by Lush
This smells exactly like the snow fairy shower gel or the marshmallow bath melt that they sell all year round. Unfortunately this isnt on the website anymore but you can still find it in some shops. This is perfect for people that love sweet, girly smells.

4) Dragons Egg bath bomb
This bath bomb looks so fun, its full of citrus scents and popping candy and glitter. It looks so lovely and I cant wait to try it out,

5) Nail Polishes (Models Own - Peach Puff, Barry M gel, Essie - Aruba Blue)
Probably everyone of my blog posts so far has a Models Own nail polish but I love them so much, Peach Puff is the perfect orange because its not bright its more pastel and less in your face. I was sceptical about buying Barry M because I generally dont like the textures or the drying time of Barry M but I was so intrigued by the gel colours that I just had to get one, and I definitely wasnt let down. Last but not least I took the plunge and got an Essie nail polish! I think you know your nail polish addiction has gone to far when you spend nearly £10 on a nail polish but this colour is literally my dream colour!

6) Sweet Dreams soap
My friend got this for christmas and when I was going through what she got with her and found this and instantly fell in love, it smells exactly like pink grapefruit and the stuff from boy shop and its was in the sale for £2.50.

7) Kiss Me Quick - hot fudge body butter
My friend also got this for christmas and the only way I can describe the smell is that it is literally the stuff of angels. I got it in a set(half price in Boots) because the smell is so good.

8) Yankee Candle - Christmas Cookie
This smells just like cookies in the oven but it definitely isn't too overpowering, its just right! Its just smells like vanilla and cookies.

What I Got For Christmas

1) Models Own box set
So so so happy and grateful that I got this, if you know me you know that my obsession for Models Own is ridiculous so this was so perfect! The colours i got were as follows: Southern Lights, Ibiza Mix, Indian Ocean, Beths Blue, Pastel Pink, Mixed Up, Scarlett Sparkle, Lili's Pink, Smash Up - Black, Hot Stuff, Thunder and Lightening, Red 'n' Black, Soda Pop Pink, Peach Puff and Lemon Meringue.

2) Kindle Fire
This is so so lovely, my mum knows me so well. If you have/are thinking about buying this, please do its so good, the screen quality is so good and it has apps unlike the other kindles, the only downfall is that there's not an Instagram app.

3) Hello Kitty mug
This is one of the cutest presents I got because its so girly and perfect for a nice cup of hot chocolate.

4) Black Vans
I got all black vans as well for christmas from my dad which I've wanted for so long because none of my other vans dont go with everything so that was so good to get.

Hope you enjoyed, I love seeing what other people got for christmas so I thought it would be a nice blog post to do. Ps I didnt make this blog post to brag, I am so so so so so ridiculously grately for everything I get. Hope you all had an amazing christmas and a happy new year xxxx
